I'm one of those relics who won't leave the house without my makeup on. I just don't feel totally put together without it. There's just something about being showered, dressed, combed and made up that makes me feel ready to face the day ahead. I consider it to be part of a fresh start!

Even though I don't put make up on everyday to go to work, I agree with you that they represent a fresh start of the day.
